Environment, health and safety standards are integrated into every aspect of the Company’s operations. The beauty of the technology is that even the By-products and Residues find applications in cheaper fragrance compounds and no solid waste is generated. CFPL is regularly complying with all the norms, rules and regulations of Pollution Control, as per the guidelines of the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB).
CFPL is completely conscious about its social obligations and has taken various social and community initiatives with special focus on infrastructure development, health and education. Our MD, Mr. Sameer Keny is a part of the Executive Committee of the Goa State Industries Association (GSIA), for the past 12 years. GSIA is the apex body representing MSME units in Goa on various State and Central Govt. bodies.

Through GSIA , the Company is actively involved in solving the various problems of the Goan MSME units and coordinating with Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) for various infrastructural development related activities in Industrial Estates across the state of Goa.
Mr. Sameer is also a member of the “Goa State Regional Board” and “State Executive Committee”(SEC) of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). He is also a member of the Hospital Development Committee(HDC), responsible for the development and maintenance of the 100 bedded ESIC Hospital in Margao.

Mr. Sameer is also part of the local committees(North and South) of ESIC, Goa and has provided exemplary support to the Corporation in implementing their various schemes and programs, related to providing medical benefits to the Insured Person (IP) and in establishing an adequate grievance redressal mechanism for the scheme in Goa.He has been on more than one occasion felicitated by the Corporation for his exemplary work.

Mr. Sameer is also an active member of Fragrances and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI) and Essential Oils Association of India (EOAI).

He has been part of the Organizing Committees for a number of International Conferences organised by both these Associations.

On the education front too, our organization is making its active contribution. Mr. Sameer is associated with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Cacora, as an Institute Management Committee (IMC) member, for the last 8 years. It is our vision that for Industrialization of Goa State, we need to ensure a steady flow of skilled personnel and reduce unemployment among the educated youth, by equipping them with the required skills, education and discipline, suitable for industrial employment, as well as self employment.

Our Organisation is also actively contributing to Labour Welfare in Goa, Mr. Sameer is Member of “Goa Labour Welfare Board” and also a Member of the “ Goa Minimum Wages Board”.
